I have been an athlete since I was a child---I played any sport possible but fell in love with soccer. I switched to less high impact sports temporarily during college but went back to soccer in my late 20's. Now, I try to shake things up by being involved in biking, Zumba (I'm a certified instructor), weight lifting....I'm going to be getting involved in Cross fit and HIIT workouts! I am a big believer in the mind/body connection---exercise and the thrill of competing kept me sane when I didn't think that was possible! In my opinion, regular exercise and competition keep anxiety and depression under control, help with sleep, and contribute to feeling and looking younger!
